CHRISTMAS 2011
On 5th and 6th December, we officially switched on the lights on our Christmas trees at Chicken’s Green, Blackhall and Front Street, Hesleden.

Chairman, Dave Carr made a short speech and welcomed everyone to the events.
Pupils from Blackhall Primary, St Josephs Primary and Hesleden Primary braved chilly temperatures to perform a selection of wonderful festive songs and Carols. Ministers gave a blessing before the lights were officially switched on for the Christmas period.

5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. LIGHTS!
Thanks to all who made the events possible, to pupils, teaching staff, Reverend George Liddle , Deacon Jenny Heath and Hesleden Community Centre for providing refreshments.

Recognition by the Council of Europe is a very special and major achievement, made possible by the efforts of people who have played a part in the transformation of our small unique coast.
